The VegetationWatch map service provides access to greenness maps over Australia. MODIS satellite images are processed to provide greenness images at 250m resolution.
MODIS satellite data are processed to produce a greenness image per overpass, and is available within 3 hours of the satellite overpass, providing a near real time product.
A fortnightly composite over Australia is also available. The composite is updated weekly using the previous fortnights data, to help provide complete national coverage by removing cloud cover over the two week period.

VegetationWatch Map Service - Subscriber Access
This service is only available to subscribers. No zoom level
restriction applies, and this services allows access to file downloads
and includes datasets such as cadastral boundaries and detailed roads over
WA.
The above map services have been found to not work correctly in Netscape versions 4.6 and 4.7. Internet Explorer version 6+ is the optimum browser to use for these services.
